“Tranquil Tides Cowes” is a delightful townhouse, located just 300 meters from Cowes beach and boat ramp. This double-storey family and pet-friendly home is perfectly positioned just a short walk from the beach and a short drive to the supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
The light-filled open plan Kitchen/Dining/Living area (with XXX smart TV, a selection of card & board games/books & DVD players) flows seamlessly from the entry, creating a comfortable and functional space for relaxing or entertaining. Also located on the ground floor is Bedroom 1 (with WIR), which features a private Ensuite (with shower & toilet). A central hallway includes a powder room (with a separate toilet) and a fully equipped Laundry (with a washing machine & clothes dryer) is provided, with both internal access and external access direct to the outdoor clothesline.
Upstairs, accessible via a staircase, a second living Family area (with XXX) provides an additional space to relax or unwind, with a King-size sofa bed offering flexible sleeping arrangements for extra guests. This level also includes Bedrooms 2 & 3 (each with BIR), serviced by a central Bathroom (with bath, shower & toilet).
Outdoor Areas
The home features a fully fenced backyard, making it ideal for children and pets alike, designed for relaxed coastal living with a combination of lawn and paved areas offering both space to unwind and a low-maintenance outdoor setting. The great outdoor area includes a XXX BBQ and outdoor seating for 4 with an umbrella, perfect for enjoying meals in the fresh air. The surrounding greenery and established trees add shade and privacy, creating a peaceful retreat, while the beach and boat ramp are just a short stroll away (approx. 300 meters). The home also includes a lockup double garage with remote control access and additional driveway parking, providing space for up to XXX vehicles (cars and/or a boat), with a table tennis table and equipment available in the garage for added entertainment.
Please note: The home has external security cameras that do not face any internal private areas.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, [XXX] coffee [pod] machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, [electric/gas] oven and [electric/induction/gas] cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There are two wall-mounted reverse cycle air conditioners located in the ground floor Kitchen/Dining/Living area and the upstairs Family/Living area.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 4 beds and 1 sofa bed, accommodating up to 8 guests:
Bedroom 1 (Downstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 2 (Upstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 3 (Upstairs): Two Single beds
There is also a King-size sofa bed in the upstairs Family/Living area, suitable for 2 adults or children.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties, or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies, irrespective of whether school-leavers are part of the official Schoolies Program. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process. Local council restrictions are in place for this property, and compliance is mandatory.
