“Sunset Dreams Across the Sea” is a charming and unique double-storey A-frame family home in Coronet Bay, set on a generous 500+ sq.m. elevated allotment. Designed with family living in mind, this character-filled home features high ceilings, exposed beams, and beautiful timber-look flooring throughout. Large windows capture breathtaking, uninterrupted views across the water to French Island and Phillip Island, creating a truly special coastal escape.
Conveniently located within a comfortable walk to the beach and Coronet General Store, and just a short drive to the supermarkets, restaurants, and cafés of San Remo, as well as the nearby townships of Grantville and Corinella, this home offers the perfect blend of relaxation and accessibility. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
The Kitchen opens into the large open plan Dining/Living area (with 50" Smart TV, an arcade machine with 9,800 games, an Xbox 360, DVD player and a selection of board & card games) which is perfect for family entertainment. An electric fireplace adds warmth and ambience, while the space flows seamlessly out to the front deck, enhancing the indoor/outdoor living experience.
A central hallway leads to Bedrooms 2 and 3 (each with BIR), as well as a main Bathroom (with bath, shower & wall-mounted radiant heater). There is also a separate toilet and a fully equipped Laundry (with washing machine and clothes dryer). Upstairs, Bedroom 1 offers a spacious retreat with a WIR, a private Ensuite (with shower, toilet & wall-mounted radiant heater), and an additional Double sofa bed with a mobile privacy screen, ideal for extra guests or families.
Outdoor Areas
Designed as a true coastal sanctuary, "Sunset Dreams Across the Sea" invites you to hit the reset button.
The wrap-around front & side Deck (with electric BBQ & 4-piece cast iron French settee set) features a fantastic electric heated 7-seater Hydro Spa, offers front-row seats to nature’s nightly show. Watch the sun dip perfectly into the Western Entrance, painting the sky in gold and violet between the silhouettes of Phillip and French Islands. It is the ultimate vantage point for a glass of red as the stars come out.
There is a rear covered east-facing Deck (with seating for 6 people) overlooking rolling hills and open fields, with views from the 4-seater timber Sauna offering a different kind of peace. Enjoy the deep, detoxifying heat while looking out over the tranquil, rolling green hills and open fields of the Coronet Bay hinterland. Upstairs, another east-facing Balcony is accessed from Bedroom 1 and provides a quiet and private retreat, complete with a charming 3-piece French settee, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee while overlooking the surrounding landscape. The property offers parking for up to 5 vehicles (cars and/or a boat), with space available in both the driveway and carport. The carport also includes a dartboard for added entertainment.
Kitchen
The rustic country-style kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, a microwave, a Nespresso coffee pod machine, a toaster, a kettle, a blender, an air fryer, and a rice cooker, along with a double sink, a fridge, a dishwasher, an electric oven, and an induction cooktop.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There are two wall-mounted reverse-cycle air conditioners plus ceiling fans in each of the Dining/Living room and Bedroom 1. There are pedestal fans and mobile heaters available in Bedrooms 2 & 3, plus wall-mounted radiant heaters in each of the two Bathrooms. There is also an electric fireplace in the downstairs Living Room.

This home has 4 beds and 2 sofa beds, accommodating up to 10 guests.

Please note: There is also a Double sofa bed in the downstairs Living Room.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties, or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies, irrespective of whether school-leavers are part of the official Schoolies Program. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process. Local council restrictions are in place for this property, and compliance is mandatory.
