About the home

"Starfish Sands" is a 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom, two storey town house, very close to the Cowes beach and shops. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

Downstairs you will find bedroom 3 (with TV and DVD player) and bedroom 4 (with access to the rear yard), a laundry in the foyer, the main bathroom (with bath, shower and toilet) and internal access to the garage.

Upstairs is the large open plan kitchen, dining/living room (with a 75 inch smart TV) which provides access to the upstairs front balcony. Bedrooms 1 and 2 are also upstairs, each with a BIR and another bathroom (with shower and toilet).

Outdoor Areas

There are outdoor tables and chairs on the upstairs balcony (with electronic shade awning) as well as in the downstairs enclosed yard. Also at your disposal is the communal solar-heated in-ground pool, and shady BBQ area. There’s a double lock up garage with a fold out table tennis as well at the home. There are also some visitor car parks as well as street parking.


The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

The home has 2 x wall mounted reverse cycle A/C units - one in the upstairs living room and the other in the downstairs foyer. There’s also a ceiling fan in both of the upstairs bedrooms.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 8 beds, accommodating up to 11 guests:

Bedroom 1 (Upstairs): 1 x Queen bed
Bedroom 2 (Upstairs): 1 x Queen bed
Bedroom 3 (Downstairs): 1 x Tri-bunk bed
Bedroom 4 (Downstairs): 2 x Sets of Single bunks

Please note: The Tri-bunks have a double bed base with a single bed above it.


It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
