"Serenity Studio at The Waves" is a delightful, fully wheelchair-accessible apartment in The Waves Complex, ideally located on the waterfront in the heart of Cowes, just moments from supermarkets, restaurants, cafés, and local shops. Some of the many features of this lovely apartment are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
The open-plan Kitchen/Living/Dining area (with a 40" Smart TV and a selection of board games/books and magazines) flows out to the Balcony. The Bedroom (with BIR and Smart TV) is located off the Hall and features a lounge suite and access to the Balcony. The Bathroom (with spa bath, shower & Toilet) is centrally located between the Living and Bedroom areas. A washing machine is available (for a cost) in the basement car park of The Waves Complex.
Outdoor Areas
The Balcony (with 2 chairs and a table) is the perfect place to relax and enjoy your morning coffee or unwind at the end of the day. There is a secure, locked garage with coded access and parking for one vehicle, and some additional street parking available nearby.
Kitchen
The kitchenette is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, toaster, kettle, air fryer, rice cooker, etc. plus a sink, bar fridge, and electric cook top. Please note: the home does not have an oven.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There are two wall-mounted reverse-cycle air conditioners located in the Living Room and Bedroom 1. The Lounge Room also has a portable heater and pedestal fan for additional comfort.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 4 beds, accommodating up to 5 guests:
Bedroom/Living Room: One Queen bed
Lounge Room: Two Single beds and one Single Trundle bed
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties, or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies, irrespective of whether school-leavers are part of the official Schoolies Program. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process. Local council restrictions are in place for this property, and compliance is mandatory.
