About the home

“Foreshore Retreat” is a delightful split level, pet-friendly family home in Grantville with direct access to the beach, and only a short drive from the supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Grantville. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

The Entry Level features Bedrooms 2 and 3 (each with BIR), a Landing, Bathroom (with bath & shower) and a separate Toilet. Downstairs is the Ground Level with the 2nd Living Room with smart TV (no free-to-air) and 3-seater Infrared Sauna, a Kitchenette (with kettle, Nespresso brand pod coffee machine & bar fridge), Bedroom 4 (with BIR) and a fully equipped Laundry/Bathroom (with shower & toilet fitted with handrails, washing machine & clothes dryer).

Upstairs from the Entry Level is the huge open plan Kitchen/Dining/Living Room (with smart TV) that flows out to the first floor Balcony, and a Study (with desk, chair & WiFi printer). Also on this level is Bedroom 1 (with BIR and smart TV) and an ensuite (with shower & toilet).

Outdoor Areas

The upstairs fully covered Balcony (with 2 recliners, 4 stools & gas BBQ) has delightful water views, while the Ground Floor Patio has a fantastic 5-6 seater electric-heated covered Spa and bar table with 4 stools. The pet-friendly fully enclosed rear yard has a 6-seater picnic table, firepit (some wood provided to get you started) and an outdoor shower - perfect for washing off after a trip to the beach or the spa, and has direct access to the beach. The Double Garage is not accessible to guests, but there is space to park up to 4 cars in front of the home, plus another 2 vehicles (cars and/or a boat) on the side of the home.

Note: The closest swimming beach is in Coronet Bay, a 10 min drive away.

Please note: There are security cameras monitoring the exterior of the home, and dogs over 15kg are to remain outside please.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Delonghi pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, wet area Bar, electric oven and induction cook top. The downstairs Kitchenette has a kettle, Nespresso brand pod coffee machine & bar fridge.

Heating/Cooling Systems

There are three wall mounted reverse cycle split-systems in the home; one in the upstairs Living Room, one in the downstairs Living Room and one in Bedroom 1, a ceiling fan in Bedroom 1, plus three additional stand-alone heaters and fans which can be used where required.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 6 beds, accommodating up to 10 guests:

Bedroom 1 (Upstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 2 (Entry Level): One Tri-bunk
Bedroom 3 (Entry Level): One Queen bed
Bedroom 4 (Downstairs): One Double bed and one Single bed

Please note: The Tri-bunk has a double bed base with a single bed above it.

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
