“Fair Haven” is a delightful double-storey family home in Cape Woolamai, ideally positioned just a short walk from the safe swimming beach of Cleeland Bight, renowned surf beaches and scenic coastal walks. The home is also close to local supermarkets, cafés and restaurants in Cape Woolamai. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

The light-filled open-plan Kitchen/Dining/Living area (with 65” Smart TV) on the ground floor forms the heart of the home, creating a welcoming space for relaxing and spending time together. The ground floor also features Bedroom 1 (with BIR) and a double-entry Ensuite (with shower & separate toilet), accessible from both Bedroom 1 and the Living room. The fully equipped Laundry (with washing machine & clothes dryer) also has internal access to the Garage.

Upstairs, a generous Family Room (with XXX TV & Fuzbol Table) provides a fantastic second living space and opens directly onto the Balcony, allowing plenty of natural light and fresh air. This level also includes Bedrooms 2 & 3, (each with BIR), which are serviced by the main Bathroom (with bath & shower) and a separate Toilet.

Outdoor Areas

The home features an upper-level Balcony (with a table and two chairs) off the Family Room, offering a relaxing space with fresh coastal breezes. At ground level, a rear Alfresco area (with gas BBQ, large umbrella, and seating for 6 people) creates an inviting setting for outdoor dining and entertaining. There is a grassed area at the rear of the dining room that includes a hammock for relaxation. The fully enclosed block makes the outdoor spaces ideal for families. There is one parking space in front of the garage and another in the driveway near the front door.

Please note: The home has external security cameras that do not face any internal private areas.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso coffee pod machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and stove.

Heating/Cooling Systems

There are two wall-mounted reverse-cycle air conditioners in the home; one is located in the downstairs Kitchen/Dining/Living area and the upstairs Family Room, along with ceiling fans and mobile heaters in Bedrooms 1 & 2 and a pedestal fan and mobile heater in Bedroom 3. The home also features a 2.1m electric fireplace in the downstairs Living Room.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 3 beds, and 1 sofa bed, accommodating up to 9 guests:

Bedroom 1 (Downstairs): One King bed
Bedroom 2 (Upstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 3 (Upstairs): One Tri-bunk bed

Please note: The Tri-bunk has a double bed base with a single bed above it.
There is also a Double sofa bed in the upstairs Family Room suitable for 2 adults or children.

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties, or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies, irrespective of whether school-leavers are part of the official Schoolies Program. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process. Local council restrictions are in place for this property, and compliance is mandatory.
