About the home

“El Sueno” is a lovely home in central Cowes. With the boat ramp just 1.5 km away, the home is an ideal base for boating and fishing enthusiasts. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

The home has a large open-plan kitchen / dining / living room (with large smart TV, DVD player & PlayStation 2), leading onto the rear deck. The master bedroom (with TV) flows through to the walk-in-robe and en-suite (with shower & toilet). There are a further two bedrooms, and another bathroom (with bath & shower), and a separate toilet. A separate laundry also opens to the deck.

Outdoor Areas

There is a fully covered deck housing a gas BBQ and a quality outdoor setting, plus an outdoor shower (hot & cold water). There is a double garage (with table tennis table) and the long driveway provides ample off-street parking for several vehicles plus a boat, and the yard is fully enclosed.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen with walk-in pantry is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, a Nespresso pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

The home features ducted heating and cooling throughout.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 8 beds, accommodating up to 10 guests:

Bedroom 1: One Queen bed
Bedroom 2: Two sets of Single bunks
Bedroom 3: One Single bed and one Tri-bunk

Please note: The Tri-bunk has a double bed base with a single bed above it.

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
