"Clifden Cottage" is a lovely 3 bedroom home in the Red Rocks area of Cowes - close to the beach! Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
The open plan Kitchen/Dining/Living room (with coonara wood heater, large screen smart TV) provides access to the rear deck and yard. The central hallway leads from the Living room to the fully equipped Laundry (with washing machine & clothes dryer), central Bathroom (with bath, shower and toilet) and a second separate toilet. All three Bedrooms have BIR.
Outdoor Areas
The covered rear alfresco (with BBQ and outdoor setting) is perfect to entertain the family, the fully enclosed large rear yard is great for kids and pets and has a hot & cold outdoor shower available up the side of the house opposite to the driveway (accessible only from the backyard) to rinse off after the beach. The front covered deck runs the length of the home.
Kitchen
The fully appointed main kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, toaster, kettle, ALDI pod coffee machine, etc. plus a double sink, large pantry, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and induction cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There is a wall mounted reverse cycle air conditioner in the living room, plus a coonara wood heater. There are also ceiling fans in all three bedrooms plus 2 electric heaters in each of the BIR as well.
Bedroom Configuration
This home has 4 beds accommodating up to 7 guests:
Bedroom 1: One King bed
Bedroom 2: One Queen bed
Bedroom 3: One Tri-bunk
Please note: The Tri-bunk has a double bed base with a single bed above it.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process - Local council restrictions are in place for this property and compliance is mandatory.
