About the home

"Castaway Views" is a stunning brand new home with incredible water views and an electric heated swimming pool, just a short drive or comfortable walk from the beach and supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of San Remo. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

Upstairs, the large main living area opens into the well appointed kitchen. There is also access from the living room to the large covered deck with stunning water views. The Master bedroom comes with BIR and en-suite (with a walk in shower & toilet). The second bedroom is also on this floor with its own BIR and en-suite (with shower & a separate toilet). Downstairs, are Bedrooms 2 & 3 (each with BIR) and Bedroom 4 with its own WIR. There is also a large main Bathroom (with bath, shower and a separate toilet) and second Living area (with 55" smart TV).

Outdoor Areas

The upstairs deck provides a lovely sheltered place for outdoor meals under cover. The downstairs deck leads out from the downstairs living area. The stunning electric heated (to a maximum 28 degrees) in-ground swimming pool (6m x 3m, 1.4m deep) is perfect for family groups to relax. There is a double garage with a table tennis table, fuzbol table and direct access to inside the home. There is space to park up to 3 vehicles (cars and/or a boat) in the driveway.

Please note, the temperature of the pool water, as well as the pool heating capacity, can be affected by the ambient (outside) temperature. If you have any queries about what this may mean for your stay, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with standard cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Vittoria coffee machine (Nespresso compatible), toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, walk in pantry, large fridge, dishwasher, electric oven, and gas cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

Each of the two living rooms have a wall mounted reverse cycle air conditioner, and there are pedestal fans and mobile heaters in all the bedrooms.

Bedroom Configuration:

This home has 6 beds, plus 1 sofa bed, accommodating up to 13 guests:

Bedroom 1 (Upstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 2 (Upstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 3 (Downstairs): One Tri-bunk bed
Bedroom 4 (Downstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 5 (Downstairs): One Queen bed

There is also a Double divan/sofa in the downstairs Living room which is suitable for 2 adults or children.

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
