We understand that if a lockdown means you are not permitted to come and stay, it is different than cancelling or changing a booking for other reasons. If a lockdown means you (as the person booking) are not permitted to come and stay, we will provide you with the choice of either cancelling and getting a full refund or changing your dates. Please ask us if you have any questions about this offer as some exclusions may apply based on notice, group composition restrictions, etc.

About the home

Blue Waves is fully setup to accommodate families with small children, and with some of Victoria's best surf beaches within a few minutes walk, it's a great spot for teens as well.

"Blue Waves" is an extremely well setup new holiday accommodation that will have particular appeal to families with small children and surf-loving teenagers, and one that you'll be eager to return to year after year!

Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

The Master bedroom features a walk through robe and en-suite with double basin. The other three bedrooms share the main bathroom (with a bath and a separate toilet). The front living room has a gas log fireplace and wall mounted smart TV. The rear of the house is a stunning open plan kitchen (with butlers pantry) and a 900mm oven - great for entertaining, dining room and main living room (with another smart TV, plus access to Netflix and Amazon Plus) and stacker doors leading out to the fully covered alfresco area. Also leading off the dining room is the laundry.

Outdoor Areas

Outdoor living is catered for as well, with a generous Alfresco off the main living area. This fully sheltered space offers a pleasant outdoor experience, and is equipped with a large gas BBQ, an extra bar fridge and a quality outdoor setting. Also featured in the fully fenced backyard is a private outdoor hot/cold shower to rinse off the salt and the sand. Outside pets are welcome. There is a firepit but wood is not provided.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with standard cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, walk in butlers pantry, large fridge, dishwasher, Nespresso pod compatible coffee machine, 900mm electric oven and 5-burner gas cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

The entire home has zoned ducted heating with the thoughtful additions of a gas log fireplace in the second living room and a reverse cycle air conditioner in the main living room. There are also ceiling fans in all the bedrooms.

Bedroom Configuration:

Bedroom 1: One King bed
Bedroom 2: One Queen bed
Bedroom 3: One Tri-bunk bed
Bedroom 4: One set of single bunks and one single trundle bed

There is also a fold out single size sofa bed (stored in Bedroom 4) for guests to use.

Linen

A standard booking comes with doonas with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bath mats. Guests can bring their own sheets (flat and fitted), pillow cases and towels or opt to pay extra for this 'optional linen'. The cost to provide optional linen is a once off fee per stay of $30 per king/queen/double bed and $15 per single bed. Please advise us if you would like this additional service.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
