Phillip Island Holiday Homes provide essential respite accommodation for individuals and families needing temporary relief from caregiving responsibilities or challenging circumstances. Our fully equipped homes offer comfortable spaces where guests can recharge in a peaceful coastal setting.

Located near Phillip Island’s beaches, wildlife attractions, and walking trails, our homes combine practical amenities with the therapeutic benefits of nature. Respite stays allow caregivers to rest while their loved ones enjoy a change of environment, or provide individuals recovering from difficult situations a safe haven to recuperate.

Provides a break for primary caregivers to prevent burnout and tend to their own needs.

Offers support for individuals recovering from illness or injury, or those who need a short-term stay.

  • For NDIS participants: Eligibility for Short-Term Accommodation (STA) is determined by the NDIS and funding must be included in your plan. You can discuss this with your Support Coordinator or Local Area Coordinator.
  • For aged care: Eligibility is assessed through an Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT).
  • For carer payments: You may be eligible for up to 63 days of respite care per year without impacting your Carer Payment or Allowance. 

  • NDIS: Discuss your goals with your support coordinator, LAC, or NDIS planner during a planning or review meeting.
  • Aged Care: Contact My Aged Care to request an ACAT assessment.

We have several homes that are suitable for those using a cane or walking frame. We do not currently provide wheelchair accessible homes.

All properties provide doonas and pillows however most do not include linen and towels.

OPTIONAL LINEN means you will need to bring sheets (top sheet and bottom (fitted) sheet), pillowcases, towels, as these are not provided as part of the booking. 

Doonas with Doona covers and pillows, bathmats, hand towels and tea towels will be supplied. If you have prearranged the linen package to be included then this will be available at the home. 

We do have listings that include all linen. Please look for the “linen included” in the listing description. Please contact us within 7 days of your arrival should you require linen - charges apply.
