If a lockdown means you (as the person booking) are not permitted to come and stay, we will provide you with the choice of either cancelling and getting a full refund or changing your dates. About the home
"Island Manor" is a quality home with four spacious bedrooms split across three levels in Sunderland Bay, just 250m from the Sunderland Bay beach. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
This lovely home is spread over 3 levels, and has an open stair case. On the ground floor you will find bedrooms 3 and 4 (each with BIR), a living room (with TV), the main bathroom (with spa bath & shower), separate toilet and the laundry. On the 2nd (middle) floor are the open plan kitchen/dining, lounge room (DVD player & smart TV) and two covered decks. Up on the 3rd (top) floor are the Master bedroom (with BIR) and second bedroom with BIR and which has a dual access en-suite (with shower and toilet).
Staircase: There are multiple stairways and no lift. For those with mobility and accessibility needs and toddlers, please confirm the suitability of this property’s feature with your own needs by viewing photos on the website and asking relevant questions before booking.
There are two driveways and a gravel area in which to park up to 5 cars or a boat(s). Please note the garage is not available for guest use. The ground floor has a covered rear porch area, the 2nd floor has a front covered deck (with table & chairs for 4) plus a large rear deck (with the BBQ plus table and chairs for 6). The 3rd floor also has both a rear and front balcony off bedrooms 1 and 2 respectively.
The kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, 2 x dishwashers, Espresso Krups coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, a large fridge, 2 x gas ovens and a gas cook top.
The home has 3 x reverse cycle airconditioners; one each in the 2nd level dining room (servicing the dining, kitchen and living room), and each of the two bedrooms on the 3rd floor. There are wall mounted heaters in each of the two downstairs bedrooms plus the downstairs living room. There are also ceiling fans in all 4 bedrooms plus the downstairs living room.
"Island Manor" is set up to comfortably sleep up to 12 guests:
Bedroom 1 (3rd floor): One King bed
Bedroom 2 (3rd floor): One Queen bed and Two Single beds
Bedroom 3 (Ground floor): One Queen bed
Bedroom 4 (Ground floor): Two sets of Single bunks
A standard booking comes with doonas with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bath mats. Guests can bring their own sheets (flat and fitted), pillow cases and towels or opt to pay extra for this 'optional linen'. The cost to provide optional linen is a once off fee per stay of $30 per king/queen/double bed and $15 per single bed. Please advise us if you would like this additional service.
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
