“Cape View San Remo” is a recently renovated delightful double-storey home with great water views. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

Downstairs is the central open plan kitchen / dining room which provides access to the front balcony as well as a private side deck and is adjacent to the main living room (with electric fireplace and large smart TV) with beautiful views to the water. The second living area is a tastefully renovated, fully enclosed indoor-outdoor space that overlooks the delightful rear yard. Also on this level are bedrooms 2 and 3, the main bathroom (with shower & toilet) as well as the laundry.

Upstairs is the parents retreat - master bedroom with BIR, a private balcony and a recently renovated ensuite (with shower & toilet).

Outdoor Areas

The fully enclosed rear yard features a fire pit, outdoor setting for 8 people and a hot/cold outdoor shower. There is a private side deck accessed through the dining room, and the first floor balcony is accessed through the upstairs bedroom and affords stunning views over the rooftops of San Remo to the ocean. The large ground floor balcony provides a great location to sit and enjoy the incredible views.

A double garage is located under the front balcony and allows parking for 2 vehicles, with space for another 2 cars or a boat in the driveway. Please note the shed on the side of the property (facing Shetland Heights Rd) is not accessible to guests.

Please note there are external security camera's. They do not view any private areas at the home.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, a Delonghi pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a sink, fridge, dishwasher, an electric oven and induction cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

The home has two wall mounted reverse cycle heating & cooling systems units; one in bedroom 1 and the other in the main living area. There are 2 portable fans and 2 portable heaters for use in bedrooms 2 and 3, plus ceiling mounted electric panel heaters in the second living area.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 7 beds accommodating up to 9 guests:

Bedroom 1 (Upstairs): One King bed
Bedroom 2 (Downstairs): One Tri-bunk, one Single Trundle bed and one Single bed
Bedroom 3 (Downstairs): Two Long Single beds (which can be converted into a King bed)

Please note: The Tri-bunks have a double bed base with a single bed above it.

Also - if you would like the Long Single beds to be converted into King beds prior to your arrival, we need at least one week's notice before checking in.

Long single mattress dimensions are approximately 91cm x 203cm and converted king bed dimensions are approximately 180cm x 203cm.
We also recommend that the trundle bed and top bunk bed are used by children rather than adults.

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
