About the home

“Woolamai Waves Abode” is a delightful split-level family home in Cape Woolamai just a short walk from the beach and supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cape Woolamai. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

External stairs lead to the front covered balcony and into the home. The large open plan Kitchen/Dining/Living Room (with TV, chromecast & DVD player) provides a lovely place to relax. A central hallway (down 7 steps) leads to all three bedrooms (each with BIR), the Laundry (with a separate toilet ) and the Bathroom (with bath & shower). There is also direct access to the yard from the Laundry (8 steps).

Outdoor Areas

The upstairs covered front balcony (with table & chairs for 7) is a fantastic extension of the interior Living space. External stairs lead down to the fully enclosed block which also features a hot/cold outdoor shower. The large covered area under the Balcony & Living Room (with gas BBQ) provides yet more options for outdoor entertainment. There is space to park up to 4 vehicles on the property (cars and/or a boat).

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso pod coffee machine with milk frother, toaster, air fryer, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and induction cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

There is a wall mounted reverse cycle airconditioner in the Living/Kitchen/Dining room, plus three additional oil-free heaters and three stand-alone fans which can be used where required.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 4 beds, accommodating up to 6 guests:

Bedroom 1: One King bed
Bedroom 2: One Queen bed
Bedroom 3: Two Single beds

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
