About the home
“Vantage Point” is a delightful double-storey family and pet friendly home in Coronet Bay just a short drive or comfortable walk from the beach, boatramp & general store in Coronet Bay, and a 15 minute drive from the supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of San Remo. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
The downstairs Lounge Room has been converted into a games room (with table tennis table & smart TV). The rear of the home is the open plan Dining/Kitchen which leads out to the rear deck. Also on this level are Bedroom 1 (with built in robes), a bathroom (with shower, bath & toilet) and a laundry (with washing machine). Upstairs is the large open Living Room (with smart TV & Sonos soundbar) with a second small fridge. Bedrooms 2, 3 & 4 all have built in robes and share access to another bathroom (with shower & corner bath) plus a separate toilet.
Outdoor Areas
The rear ground floor covered deck (with outdoor couch and gas BBQ) overlooks the enclosed rear yard which is perfect for children and pets. The single car garage is not for guest use, but there is a double (tandem) garage which may be suitable for 2 cars (or a car and a boat) and space to park another 2-4 vehicles in front of the two garages.
Pets are allowed indoors, but we ask that they not go upstairs or on any carpet or furniture.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso compatible pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, electric oven and cook top. There is also a second smaller fridge in the upstairs bar.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There is a wall mounted reverse cycle airconditioner in each of the downstairs Lounge Room as well as the upstairs Living Room, plus four additional stand-alone fans which can be used where required.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 5 beds, accommodating up to 9 guests:
Bedroom 1 (Downstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 2 (Upstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 3 (Upstairs): One Tri-bunk
Bedroom 4 (Upstairs): One Double bed
Please note: The Tri-bunk has a double bed base with a single bed above it.
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
