About the home

“Tampa Beach House” is a delightful double-storey family home in Cape Woolamai just a comfortable walk from the Cape Woolamai surf beach and a short drive from the Cleeland Bight safe swimming beach, supermarket, restaurants & cafés of Cape Woomai. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

The downstairs family room (with smart TV & coonara wood heater) provides access to the laundry, downstairs covered deck and Bedroom 1, with BIR and an ensuite (with shower, toilet & double vanity). Upstairs is the open plan Kitchen and Dining/Living Room (with smart TV)

Outdoor Areas

The downstairs fully covered deck (with hot & cold water outdoor shower, a table & stools for 6 people) steps out to the enclosed rear yard which is fantastic for children, and alos features a firepit. The upstairs rear semi-covered balcony (with 2 sunbeds) also overlooks the rear yard while the fully covered front balcony has a table & seating for 5 people and a gas BBQ. There is space to park 2 cars in the driveway with additional street parking available.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso pod coffee machine with milk frother, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and induction cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

There is a wall mounted reverse cycle airconditioner in the upstairs Living/Kitchen/Dining room, a wall mounted electric heater in the upstairs Living Room, the coonara wood heater in the downstairs Family Room (no wood provided), electric blankets on both of the Queen beds and 2 of the Single beds, plus one additional stand-alone heater which can be used where required.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 6 beds, accommodating up to 8 guests:

Bedroom 1 (Downstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 2 (Upstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 3 (Upstairs): Two sets of Single bunks

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
