About the home

“Surf Beach Paradise” is a delightful double-storey family home in Surf Beach just a short drive or comfortable walk from the beach and supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cape Woolamai or Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

Downstairs is the large 2nd living room (with smart tv) that provides access to the rear deck. Bedroom 2 has direct access out to the front covered deck, while bedroom 3 and 4 (each with built in robes) are also downstairs; all three bedrooms share the main bathroom (with shower & bath), a separate toilet and full size laundry (with washing machine and clothes dryer). There is also internal access into the home from the garage/games room.

Upstairs is the enormous open plan kitchen/dining/living room (with smart tv & chromecast, netflix & Kayo) that provides access to the front covered balcony and side deck. The main bedroom is also on this level (with smart tv) and has an ensuite (with shower & toilet). Another separate powder room is also on this level.

Outdoor Areas

The large double garage has been converted into a games room (ie no vehicle parking is possible) with a pool table, smart tv (with & chromecast, netflix & Kayo), full sized fridge and bar stools. Downstairs there is a rear covered deck (accessed from bedroom 4 and the downstairs living area) that overlooks the fully enclosed rear yard (perfect for children and has an outdoor shower) plus a front deck accessible from bedroom two and a small side covered deck accessible from bedroom 3. The upstairs front covered balcony and side deck (with table & seating for 6, some lounge beds and gas bbq) is accessed through concertina doors to the large upstairs living area, and provides delighful water views to the bay.

There is space for up to 3 cars on the property in the driveway.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, 2 x electric ovens (one 900mm and the other 600mm) and an induction cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

There are 6 wall mounted reverse cycle airconditioners in the home; one in each bedroom, plus one in the downstairs living area and one in the upstairs Living/Kitchen/Dining room.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 6 beds, plus 1 sofa bed, accommodating up to 10 guests:

Bedroom 1 (Upstairs): One King bed
Bedroom 2 (Downstairs): Two sets of King Single bunks
Bedroom 3 (Downstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 4 (Downstairs): One Double sofa bed

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
