We understand that if a lockdown means you are not permitted to come and stay, it is different than cancelling or changing a booking for other reasons. If a lockdown means you (as the person booking) are not permitted to come and stay, we will provide you with the choice of either cancelling and getting a full refund or changing your dates. Please ask us if you have any questions about this offer as some exclusions may apply based on notice, group composition restrictions, etc.
About the home
A lovely townhouse in central Cowes, with water views and just moments from all the shops, restaurants and cafe's that Cowes has to offer. Park you car and walk everywhere! Some of the many features of this home are detailed below:
Downstairs are bedrooms 1 and 2 (both with BIR), a family room (with a TV) and the main bathroom (with shower & bath) and a separate toilet. There is also a European-style laundry and access to the downstairs enclosed courtyard. Upstairs is the large open plan kitchen/dining and main living area with water views (and with a smart TV). bedroom 3 with BIR and an en-suite (shower and toilet).
The large wrap-around balcony on the first floor has great views of the water - a fantastic place to relax with family and friends. The downstairs covered courtyard has a hot/cold outdoor shower for washing off after a swim at the beach. The single car garage is not available for guest use.
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, toaster, kettle, Aldi pod coffee machine, etc. plus a double sink, large fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and cook top.
There is one reverse cycle wall mounted air-conditioner in the upstairs open plan living area. There are also 5 ceiling fans in the home - one each in all the bedrooms, plus one each in the two living rooms (one upstairs and one downstairs) plus mobile heaters in all 3 bedrooms and electric blankets available for all beds for guest use.
"Sea La Vie" is set up to comfortably sleep up to 9 guests:
Bedroom 1 (Downstairs): One King bed
Bedroom 2 (Downstairs): One Tri-bunk bed (we recommend the top bunk is suitable for a child)
Bedroom 3 (Upstairs): One Queen bed
The downstairs living room also has a divan/sofa bed that converts into a double bed, suitable for 2 adults or children.
A standard booking comes with doonas with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bath mats. Guests can bring their own sheets (flat and fitted), pillow cases and towels or opt to pay extra for this 'optional linen'. Guests will be provided with towels for use in the spa (whether they bring their own linen or opt to pay for the optional linen). The cost to provide optional linen is a once off fee per stay of $30 per king/queen/double bed and $15 per single bed. Please advise us if you would like this additional service.
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
