About the home

“Orca Retreat” is a delightful, large, modern double-storey family home in San Remo just a short drive or comfortable walk from the beach and supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of San Remo and opposite the Silverwater Resort. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

Downstairs is the Lounge Room (with smart TV) that provides space to spread out, fully equipped Laundry (with washing machine and clothes dryer), a Bathroom (with shower) and a separate Toilet, as well as Bedroom's 3 & 4 (each with BIR). Please note there is no access to the Garage and connected Store rooms. Upstairs is the enormous open plan Kitchen/Living (with smart TV & marshall kilburn 2 blue tooth speaker) with beautiful waterviews and that provides access to the front Balcony, a connected Dining Room, another Casual Living Room, Bedroom 2 (with BIR), Bedroom 1 (with smart TV), and ensuite (with shower & toilet), another Bathroom (with bath & shower), and a separate Toilet. Bedroom 1 (no access to the WIR) & the Casual Living Room provide access to the rear Deck.

Please note there are security camera's on the property - they do not view any private areas in the home.

Outdoor Areas

The front covered Balcony (with outdoor dining table & chairs for 8 people) provides delightful waterviews and there is also a back Deck (with BBQ & 5 seater outdoor lounge). The enclosed yard has a firepit with 6 adiron dack chairs (some wood to get you started). There is parking available for up to 3 vehicles (cars and/or a boat) in the driveway and the Silverwater Resort is opposite the home.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, 900mm electric oven and cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

There re three wall mounted reverse cycle airconditioners in the home; one in the upstairs Living/Kitchen, one in Bedroom 1 and another in the downstairs Lounge Room.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 6 beds, accommodating up to 10 guests:

Bedroom 1 (Upstairs): One King bed
Bedroom 2 (Upstairs): One Tri-bunk
Bedroom 3 (Downstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 4 (Downstairs): One Tri-bunk

Please note: Tri-bunk beds have a double bed base with a single bed above it.

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
