About the home
"Oceanic Hideaway" is set in a fabulous central location. This north facing ground floor apartment is situated within a secure complex and within walking distance to the shops, cafes, restaurants, beach and much more. Park your car and walk everywhere! This is the only ground floor apartment in the complex therefore access is a breeze. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
Inside is a spacious living, kitchen and dining area (with Smart TV), the Master bedroom (with WIR) has direct access into the main bathroom/laundry (with bath, shower & toilet). The second bedroom has a BIR.
Outdoor Areas
A double glass sliding door from the living area opens out to a lovely north facing alfresco terrace which is undercover and perfect for relaxing and entertaining. The car park for the apartment is within 10m of the apartment entrance and behind a secure fence (as well as inside the complex).
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, toasted sandwich maker, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, and electric cook top and oven.
Heating/Cooling Systems
The home has two wall mounted reverse cycle airconditioning units; one in the open plan kitchen/dining/living room plus another in the Master bedroom. There is also a mobile fan for use where required.
Bedroom Configuration
This home has 5 beds, accommodating up to 6 guests:
Bedroom 1: One Queen bed
Bedroom 2: One set of Single bunks, One Single bed and One Single Trundle bed
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
