Property Description
"Manna House" is a centrally located family home in Cowes that is eco-conscious and energy-efficient with 2 water tanks and solar panels. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
The central kitchen and open plan dining/living room (with smart TV) provides access out to the covered side area, and ajoins the second living area near the front of the home (with large smart TV). The main bedroom has a WIR and ensuite (with shower & toilet). Bedrooms 3 and 4 (each with BIR) are at the rear of the home, with bedroom 2 off the front living room. They all share access to the main bathroom (with corner bath, shower), a separate toilet and a laundry. The converted garage has been turned into a third living area (with TV, microwave, kettle, toaster, sink & bar fridge) and is accessed via the rear door (there is no access to the workshop adjacent to the 3rd living area). Bedroom 5 leads off this area and has its own ensuite (with shower & toilet).
Outdoor Areas
The large covered pergola and bbq area, perfect for entertaining, is accessed from the main living or laundry. The enclosed rear yard features fruit trees and a veggie patch, providing an abundance of seasonal produce. The long driveway provides plenty of space for parking up to 4 vehicles (cars and a boat).
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with standard cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, air fryer, slow cooker, electric frypan, sandwich maker, etc. plus a double sink, pantry, large fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There are two wall mounted reverse cycle air-conditioners; one in the main dining/living area and another in the 3rd living area (converted garage), ceiling fans in bedrooms 3, 4 and 5 plus another in the main living/dining room and one in the kitchen. There are pedastal fans (stored in bedrooms 1 and 2) plus 4 mobile heaters for use in bedrooms 1 - 4.

Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events likely to create excessive noise which might impact neighbours. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies. The home is set up particularly with families in mind.
