About the home

"Glen Isla Seaside" is an older style home in a fantastic location close to the beach and cafe's/restaurants and shops in central Cowes. Some of the many features of this home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

The kitchen/meals area opens into the main large living and dining room with water views, coonara wood heater and smart TV with DVD player. The master bedroom (with BIR) has an en-suite (with shower and toilet) and the other two bedrooms (with BIR) are also accessible from the main living room (bedroom 3 also has a TV). The main bathroom (bath with shower above it and a toilet) is accessed through the laundry off the kitchen/meals area.

Outdoor Areas

The large (6m x 3m) semi-covered rear viewing deck has beautiful water views. The enclosed yard is perfect for children and small pets (pets outside only) and features a private gate that opens just metres from the beach. There is parking available in the large 2 car carport with space for 2 additional cars on the property.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Lavazzo coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, a large fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

There is a wall mounted reverse cycle air-conditioner in the living room and the master bedroom and there are also wall mounted electric heaters in each of the two bathrooms. There is also one portable heater and the coonara style wood heater in the main living/dining room.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 4 beds, accommodating up to 7 guests:

Bedroom 1: One Queen bed
Bedroom 2: One Queen bed
Bedroom 3: One Tri Bunk

Please note: The Tri-bunk has a double bed base with a single bed above it.

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
