We understand that if a lockdown means you are not permitted to come and stay, it is different than cancelling or changing a booking for other reasons. If a lockdown means you (as the person booking) are not permitted to come and stay, we will provide you with the choice of either cancelling and getting a full refund or changing your dates. Please ask us if you have any questions about this offer as some exclusions may apply based on notice, group composition restrictions, etc.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.

Right to Evict

As mentioned above, the home is not suitable for parties or celebrations. The home has neighbours in close proximity, and we aim to ensure there is no excessive noise or disrespectful, loud, late night parties. Reports of these could lead to immediate eviction without recourse.

About the home

"Alonda" is a stunning brand new 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home, with a 5 seater spa and plunge pool, and incomparable 180 degree water views out over Bore Beach to the ocean. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

Upstairs, the large main dining/living area featuring an amazing Chiminees cast iron fire in the centre of the room, reverse cycle split system, Wi-Fi enabled smart TV and is open plan with the modern, well appointed kitchen. Upstairs is also the huge main bedroom (with en-suite complete with 2 basins, twin shower and underfloor heating) and a separate powder room for added convenience.

Downstairs, there are three large bedrooms all with BIR and one with its own en suite (and underfloor heating). The other two bedrooms share a large main bathroom with bath, shower, a separate toilet and underfloor heating. Also downstairs is the second living area with TV and reverse cycle split system .

Outdoor Areas

The upstairs covered rear deck with seating for 10 people, provides uninterrupted 180 degree views of the ocean - an amazing location for enjoying the stunning views.The downstairs covered rear deck leads out from the downstairs living area to the 5 seater spa and plunge pool. There is a double garage with under cover access to the home and parking in the driveway for 4+ additional cars or several boats.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Lavazza pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, walk in pantry, large fridge, dishwasher, 900mm electric oven, 5 burner gas cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

Each of the two living areas have reverse cycle split systems, every bathroom has underfloor heating and every bedroom has a ceiling fan and a column heater. Upstairs, central to the living and dining area is the stunning Chiminees Philippe, 2 sided, cast iron fireplace.

Bedroom Configuration:

Bedroom 1 (Upstairs): One King bed
Bedroom 2 (Downstairs): One King bed
Bedroom 3 (Downstairs): Two King Singles and One King Single trundle bed
Bedroom 4 (Downstairs): One Queen bed

The downstairs living room has a double futon lounge suitable for 1 adult or 2 children.

Linen

A standard booking comes with doonas with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bath mats. Guests can bring their own sheets (flat and fitted), pillow cases and towels or opt to pay extra for this 'optional linen'. The cost to provide optional linen is a once off fee per stay of $30 per king/queen/double bed and $15 per single bed. Please advise us if you would like this additional service.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
